Sunday, August 4. Today’s art project consists of four photos taken this morning while hiking the Black River Trail south of Sheboygan with my dog Boo. Boo was too busy hanging out in the tall grass to have his picture taken today. The photo were taken with my iPhone.

Saturday, August 3. Today I did a quick 3D Titanic Box. Exhibit postcards cut apart along with a titanic collector pin. I’m the king of the world!

Friday, August 2. These are four small icons. A mailbox, a diamond ring, an electric fan and a woman in a plaid coat. Makes me want to go shopping at the S.S. Kresge Company.

Friday, August 2. Here is the second print I did. The small print says, “Guard Your Safety” and there is a little tin soldier above that.

Friday, August 2. Today’s project is another one that I have been meaning to do for a while. Some friends gave me a box of old 1920’s/’30 printing press dies a long time ago, and that’s where they have stayed, in the box. So last night I finally pulled some of them out, made a print and mounted the print along with the original die. This is one of three that I did.

Thursday, August 1. Here is my first piece of art. Found objects put together to create a curiosity box of sorts. Enjoy.

Thursday, August 1. Here we are, day one of the art adventure. In celebration of kicking off the year of art, I am posting a BONUS piece. Not a new work, but one I did a few years ago. This piece had an accident and I finally put it back together last night. Not new, just newly repaired.

Beginning August 1, 2013, I will be creating a new piece of art everyday. Maybe something big, maybe something small, tag along and experience the journey with me. 365 days and 365 new pieces of art. Image from Wisconsin Concrete Park, Phillips, Wisconsin.
