Sunday, Sept. 1. The Morning Glory’s are finally in bloom in the yard. I took a few photos and used a filter in photoshop touch on the iPad to create today’s art.

Saturday, August 31. Today my dog Boo and I visited Boo’s buddy Sam. After a lot of running around the yard and playing fetch with Sam, the dogs finally had their fill. Here is a watercolor I made of Sam when we got home. I used watercolor crayons to create the painting.

Friday, August 30. I am working an some notecards for the shop with a local, nostalgic theme. Today, I put together an iconic phrase and sign from Sheboygan’s past. As the locals used to say when going downtown…Meet me down by Prange’s Corner.

Thursday, August 29. Today’s art is my logo design I did for my “Art in a Shoebox” project I am doing at my shop on September 20 and 21.
The Art in a Shoebox Project showcases local artists for a limited time in an unusual space. Molly’s Cobbler Shop will become a “pop-up” art gallery for two days this September. Trading off shoe repair to showcase four local artists. The repair shop will become a gallery overnight.

Wednesday, August 28. So I have had these Postage Stamp pins in my drawer of odd objects for many years. Today I decided to make a shadow box with them.

Tuesday, August 27. With the heat up to almost 95 degrees, I thought a small painting of the sun would be appropriate!

Monday, August 26. Tonight’s art project is in the form of food. A BLT made with tomatoes from the garden and lettuce and bread from the farmers market along with grilled Mac and Cheese. A delicious work of art!

Sunday, August 25. Today we went to the Wade House Historical Site 53rd Annual Arts and Crafts Fair where I picked up this cool Sturgeon Whirlygig. Enjoy!
